Chroma leads a conversation with Jezenia Romero, artist and creator of cassette label Bunny Jr. Tapes. Digging deep into themes of audio archives, womxn of color in music, and Romero's own process as a curator and archivist, the session invites the audience to listen and thoughtfully engage with their own relationship to audio history.
Bunny Jr. Tapes is a cassette label created by Jezenia Romero, an artist from LA and a curator for the Veteranas & Rucas archive. Chroma is a cross-disciplinary creative studio centering womxn of color and co-founded by June Canedo, Ladin Awad and Sienna Fekete. There will be an exclusive, collaborative tape available for sale at the festival by Chroma x Bunny Jr. Tapes.
